The first question asked is, "What does the V stand for?" The answer is Van. Patrick was born in suburban Indianapolis, the son of a custom home builder, and he has lived in Urbana for over 30 years. (The Ohio licensing board requires realtors to use their name as on their driver’s license!)

Having earned his Ohio real estate license in 2004, Patrick is an independent real estate and ‘Group’ leader whose broker is REMAX Alliance Realty based out of Dayton Ohio. Patrick staffs and maintains his own private satellite office in Urbana, The V. Patrick Hamilton Group (VPH) with a successful group of award winning, nationally recognized full-time realtors and competent support staff of professional individuals to assist in the attention to every detail of his business with the goal to exceed the expectations of his clients. There are two types of ‘clients’ we cater to, other realtors, and the public. When the public is searching for homes, they generally search at REMAX.com, zillow.com, realtor.com among hundreds of other public search sites. Our listings are available worldwide to the public be it with a limited amount of adequate and public information.

Our unique affiliation with three different board of realtors allows thousands of other realtors within a 50-mile radius access to include our listings and much more detailed information a realtor needs to know when searching for their clients looking to move to our area.

Other realtors join and board of realtors that provide a unique Multiple Listing Service (MLS) area/zone to search for homes and obtain specific, not necessarily public information when looking for homes for their clients. The V. Patrick Hamilton Group is a member of the Springfield, Dayton, and Columbus Board of Realtors®, Each board of realtors has its own Multiple Listing Service (MLS) area/zone they reach. 80% of our showings come from real estate agents belonging to the Columbus MLS. If Patrick was not a member of the Columbus board of realtors, realtors in that board/area would not have the in-depth knowledge of our local properties and they wouldn’t have immediate, professional access to communicate with Patrick and the ‘group’. This gives our listings maximum exposure to other ‘nearby’ realtors to give his clients maximum exposure for their listed properties.
